Happy Family Day to those who are in Canada and have the day off today. Hope you all have a lovely day with your family. And Happy Presidents Day to everyone in the U.S.A. For those of you who don’t have today off I hope you have a happy Monday as well.
Over the weekend I found out some exciting bookish news that I am can’t wait to share with you all. But first I will share my reading progress.
I’m currently listening to The Dorito Effect: The Surprising New Truth about Food and Flavor by Mark Schatzker. I am almost done this one and it has introduced me to some interesting facts about food flavour that I didn’t know before. Continue reading “Monday Musings: February 18, 2019”
I am guilty of buying books simply because my favourite BookTubers hauled them recently and I am probably not alone in this. Raise your hands if you do the same. 🙋 I have toned down my book buying recently and don’t just buy all the books making their rounds on BookTube. I finished eight books in May and only one of those eight were on my May TBR, I definitely strayed from my monthly TBR. And that is because the books that I read were dependent on if my library had the e-book or audio version of books that I already owned and they didn’t have any of the books that were on my May TBR.
The majority of these books I didn’t actually read but listened to them. I didn’t have much time this month to actually sit down and read books, so while doing chores and what not I would listen to my books and was able to get through more book than if I had read them. Lets get on with the wrap up.. Continue reading “May Wrap Up”
