Summer Biannual Bibliothon Wrap Up

The Summer Biannual Bibliothon wrapped up on Saturday and I have to say I didn’t do as well as I was hoping, I would say it was a fail. I don’t know what it was but I did not want to read last week and didn’t follow my game plan at all. I did finish 3 books though so, not terrible but still not the six like I wanted.

Everything Leads to You by Nina LaCour

Summer Biannual Bibliothon TBR

Everything Leads to You was the first book I picked up to start the Bibliothon and I finished reading it the first day. This book completed the challenge to read a LGBTQ+ book. I was off to a good start and don’t know what happened after.

I enjoyed this book and thought it was cute contemporary read. I found it interesting to get a behind the scenes look at how movies are made.

Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain

Summer Biannual Bibliothon TBRAfter finishing Everything Leads to You I picked up Huckleberry Finn and was wanting to finish it also on Sunday but that did not go as planned. I ended up finishing it Saturday. I read this for the read a banned book challenge.

I did enjoy this children’s classic and now I want to pick up the Adventures of Tom Sawyer.

Before I Fall by Lauren Oliver

Summer Biannual Bibliothon TBRI finished this Saturday and then watched the movie to complete the read a book to movie adaptation challenge. I thought this book was okay and I think I liked the movie more. The ending was not satisfying to me.

There you have it the three books that I finished for the week of the Biannual Bibliothon. I did start reading Christine Falls by Benjamin Black but only got 100 pages and some into it. Did anyone also participate in any of the read-a-thons that were going on last week? If you did let me know how you did.

June Wrap Up

June Wrap Up

Welcome to my June Wrap Up 🙂

I can’t believe it is July already! Where does the time go? I feel like every year it just goes by quicker than the previous one. Anybody else feel that way? I am so ready for July mostly because Game of Thrones finally comes out. I am a huge fan of that show and need to know what going to happen. Any ways lets get on with it, in June I read 8 books and I have to say I did a good job with sticking to the books I wanted to read.

May Wrap Up

May Wrap Up

I finished eight books in May and only one of those eight were on my May TBR, I definitely strayed from my monthly TBR. And that is because the books that I read were dependent on if my library had the e-book or audio version of books that I already owned and they didn’t have any of the books that were on my May TBR.

The majority of these books I didn’t actually read but listened to them. I didn’t have much time this month to actually sit down and read books, so while doing chores and what not I would listen to my books and was able to get through more book than if I had read them. Lets get on with the wrap up.. Continue reading “May Wrap Up”

February Wrap Up

February Wrap Up

It’s March and it will be spring soon enough. I guess I can’t complain too much since it has been an unseasonably warm February. Well enough about the weather and lets get on to the books I read in February. In total I read 5.5 books so, not quite the 10 books I planned on reading.

A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas

February Wrap Up 2017 A Court of Mist and Fury

I finally finished A Court of Mist and Fury it definitely took me longer than I expected. I have to say I wasn’t crazy in love with it. It was better than the first one but I still felt like the plot was slow and somethings I felt were far fetched. I know it is a fantasy but still has to be believable. At least Feyrah was less annoying in this book and the romance realistic. I rated this 3 stars. Continue reading “February Wrap Up”

January Wrap Up

January Wrap Up

Hello and welcome to my January wrap up. 🙂 I hope everyone had a great January to start 2017 on a good note. Overall, the month was good, I was able to read 8.5 books. I was able to read that much because I participated in the Bi-annual Bibliothon. I will list them in order in which I read at the start of the month to what I am currently reading now.
