TTT// Books on my Spring TBR

Happy Spring Everyone,

I can’t tell you how happy I am that Spring is finally here, I am so over winter. lol This weeks TTT is books you plan on reading this spring. I love this topic for this week because I was planning on doing a Spring TBR post.

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

1. The Rules of Magic by Alice Hoffman

Top Ten Tuesday Spring TBR

The Rules of Magic is a prequel to Practical Magic, which was a movie that I loved in the 90’s and I did read the book but it was not as good. I think I will like The Rules to Magic more because I don’t have such high expectations. This cover is giving me 1960’s flower child vibes which to me translates to Spring read.

2. Little Fires Everywhere by Celeste Ng

I know I am going to love this and am shocked that I haven’t read it yet. Well, that’s going to change because I will read this, this Spring.

3. Blood Sisters by Barbara & Stephanie Keating

Top Ten Tuesday Spring TBR

I want to get to some books that have been sitting on my shelves for way too long and this is one of them. I am not too sure how long this one has been on my shelf but definitely over a year.

4. Black-Eyed Susans by Julia Heaberlin

Top Ten Tuesday Spring TBR

I love a good mystery and that is what the next three books are, well, they sound good anyways.

5. Little Broken Things by Nicole Bart

Top Ten Tuesday Spring TBR

6. The Butterfly Sister by Amy Gail Hansen

7. Bel Canto by Ann Patchett

This is being turned into a movie and I want to read it before it comes out. I figure better now than later.

8. Out of the Easy by Ruta Sepetys

Top Ten Tuesday Books on my Spring TBR

I want to read all of Ruta Sepetys books and this is the only one I haven’t read. Out of the Easy is different from her other two novels about WWII, this one taking place in 1950’s New Orleans.

9. Precious Stone Trilogy by Kerstin Gier

I have been meaning to finish this series since I picked up the second book. The Precious Stone series is about a girl who can time travel and I think will be a fun and quick read on rainy days.

10. Wild by Nature: One Women, One Trek, One Thousand Nights by Sarah Marquis

Top Ten Tuesday Books on my Spring TBR

My boyfriend and I plan on doing a week long canoe trip and I think this book will give me an idea of what I should expect. Where I will be is quite different from what she is doing but similar enough.
