February TBR

February TBR

Hello,

I haven’t done a monthly TBR post in quite sometime. I have been doing a seasonal TBR instead but I do have a few specific books that I want to get to in February and thought I might as well let you all know. I have picked out seven books that I am excited to read in the month of February.

A Court of Wings and Ruin by Sarah J. Maas

February TBREven thought I am not in love with this series as everyone else seems to be, I still can’t believe I haven’t read it yet. It has been on my nightstand for many months and haven’t reached for it. I figure that February will be the perfect time to finally read A Court of Wings and Ruin.

Ten Days in the Hills by Jane Smiley

February TBRThis is another book that I think will be a perfect February read. The cover is giving me  smutty vibes.

The Heart’s Invisible Furies by John Boyne

February TBRI have been saving this book to read in February because it is pink and red. Don’t ask me why it just made sense to me. haha I believe this is coming of age novel set in 1940’s Ireland.

Behind Closed Doors by B.A Paris

February TBRI want to read a least one thriller a month and this is the one I am going with. I am currently reading her other book the Breakdown and am enjoying it and I hope I will enjoy this one too.

Russian Winter by Daphne Kalotay

February TBRI told myself that I need read this book this winter because I think that reading it in winter will add to the atmosphere of the book. I plan on reading this one first.

The Unfaithful Queen by Carolly Erickson

February TBRI started a TBR jar for this year in hopes that I will read books that have been unread on my shelf for quite sometime. The Unfaithful Queen is about Catherine Howard the fourth wife of Henry VIII. It’s kind of funny because my TBR jar pick for January was  Gilt by Katherine Longshore, which is also about Catherine Howard.

Finishing School by Carey Tennis and Danelle Morton

February TBROne of my goals this year is to read books on writing because writing is something that I want to do. I hope that by reading these types of books they will inspire me to write.  :)

Fingers crossed that I actually finish all seven books in the short month of February. What do you plan on reading in February?
