Hello,
I am back with my reading wrap up for October and November. I did a lot of reading in October and finished many books thanks to Sbooktober. Then I hardly read anything in November only completely two books but it’s all right.
October Wrap Up
Firefly Lane by Kristin Hannah

- Fun, enjoyable read about a kick-ass female assassin
- Don’t have too much to say about this one
- 3.5 Stars
- This book was quite different than what I was expecting but still enjoyable
- Wasn’t that crazy about the writing style
- Thought the story would revolve more around the detective Joona Linna but the focus is around the hypnotist. Which I guess makes a little sense since it is called the hypnotist.
- Short chapters, So even though it is a big book you get through it fairly fast
- 4.5 Stars
- Conflicted on the ending, on one hand I give props to the author and on the other was expecting something different and let down
- Mary Kubica is a great story-teller
- Great Character development, pacing and plot
The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown
- 5 Stars
- I thoroughly enjoyed this audiobook and didn’t want to stop listening to it

Spinster: Making a Life of One’s Own by Kate Bolick

- Mostly, was about female writers that she admired who are from where she grew up and were sometimes spinsters.
- Was bored and just couldn’t get into the book.
Thanks for stopping by and hope you liked this wrap up. Let me know your thoughts on the books mentioned in the comments below. 😊
