It is close to the middle of the month but I still would like to share my TBR for the month.
So far this month I have read two books and am currently half way through two others. I still have a few books left on my Summer TBR that I really want to get to. Plus I also want to get to five other books as well. Needless to say I have an ambitious TBR this month.
Summer TBR
We’ll Always Have Summer by Jenny Han
Second Chance Summer by Morgan Matson
The Last Camellia by Sarah Jio
Almost Famous Women by Megan Mayhew Bergman
Firefly Lane by Kristin Hannah
The Invention of Wings by Sue Monk Kidd
The Alice Network by Kate Quinn
This is the Historical Fictionistas book club pick for August and I have been part of this group on Goodreads forever and never participated. But I noticed that this was the book they would be reading and I recently bought it and really want to read it soon, so seemed like the perfect time to participate in the book club.
Every Last Lie by Mary Kubica
The latest release from Mary Kubica and I enjoy her books and am excited to get to it this month.
The Shadow Land by Elizabeth Kostova
I was highly anticipating this book and I still haven’t read it and it came out in April. I need to fix this and finally read it.
The Lost Girls by Heather Young
My Grandma gave this book to me last year and I am going out to visit here this month and feel like I should read this before I leave to B.C.
What We Find by Robyn Carr
Another book my Grandma gave to me that I also want to read before I leave on the 23rd.
Currently Reading
It’s Not Summer Without You by Jenny Han
I am half way through this book and I want to finish it today but not sure if I will have the time. It is an easy read so if I do get the time it won’t take long to finish.
Pretty Baby by Mary Kubica
I wanted to read this Kubica book before I started with her newest book and that way I will have read all her previous books. I’ve partly listened to this on audio and partly read it. So far I am loving it and look forward to the big reveal.
