Hello,

There are a few books that are being released this spring that I am quite excited for and have even pre-ordered. There are six books that are being released this spring that I am looking forward to.

The Tea Girl of Hummingbird Lane by Lisa See

Most Anticipated Spring Book Rleases The Tea Girl of Hummingbird Lane by Lisa See

I have read three books by Lisa See and have enjoyed them all and I am excited for this one. The Tea Girl of Hummingbird Lane has already been released and it came out March 21st. I have yet to pick it up but hope to do that soon.

The Tea Girl of Hummingbird Lane is about the bond between mother and daughter. When Li-Yan becomes pregnant out of wedlock she abandons her baby at the nearest city. Years later Li-Yan longs for her daughter and the daughter, Hailey, yearns to know where she came from. They both go searching for answers.

The Shadow Land by Elziabeth Kostova

I read the other two books that Elizabeth has written and I loved The Historian but didn’t really love The Swan Thieves. From what I read of the synopsis I do believe that The Shadow Land will be great like The Historian was. I have pre-ordered this book and it will be released on April 11th.

The Shadow Land follows Alexandra Boyd as she goes to Bulgaria and how she mistakenly ends up with an ornate box that contains an urn with human remains. And so begins her search for the elderly couple who the box belongs to and along the way she will uncover secrets and face dangers. Very intriguing.

Killers of the Flower Moon by David Grann

Most Anticipated Spring Releases Killers of the Flower Moon

Killers of the Flower Moon is  non-fiction about the Osage tribe, a very wealthy tribe and they were mysteriously killed off one by one. I want to read more non-fiction and to me this sounds like it will be an interesting and enlightening read. Release date April 18th.

Into the Water by Paula Hawkins

Most Aniticipated Spring Releases Into the Water by Paula Hawkins

This is one that I have also pre-ordered and was ordered at the same time as The Shadow Land because Chapters.Indigo was having a sale, 50% off select pre-orders.

Into the Water is Paula Hawkins second book and I really liked The Girl on the Train, so, I do have high expectations going into this one. It is about a fifteen year old girl who is left parentless, when her mother’s dead body is discovered in the towns river. This isn’t the first time a body has turned up dead in the river and with the discovery of the mothers body secrets will come to light. This will be released on May 2nd.

A Court of Wings and Ruin by Sarah J. Maas

Most Anticipated Spring Book Releases A Court of Wings and Ruin

My mailbox will be full on May 2 because I also pre-ordered this one and the release date is also May 2. A Court of Wings and Ruin is the third book in the A Court of Thorns and Roses series. I am sure that everyone is aware of this series it has taken over the book community. I have the previous two books in the series and I thought they were Ok I didn’t like them as much as I thought I would but still invested in the series that I am still looking forward to the third book.

House of Names by Colm Toibin

Most Anticipated Spring Book Releases House of Names by Colm Toibin

I have only read one book by Colm Toibin and that was Brooklyn and I thought it was a great book. This new novel by him sounds so good and can’t wait to read it. House of Names is a retelling of a Greek tragedy about Agamemnon and how he sent his daughter to her death and went off to war. I love Greek mythology so definitely want to pick this up when it comes out on May 17.

Those are the books that will be released this spring that I will be picking up. What books are you most excited for that are being released this spring?
