March TBR

I don’t expect to do much reading this month as I am starting an online course. Which means I will be devoting my time to studying. I picked 5 books  and 2 novellas to read even though I don’t expect to read that much but it is good to have options.

Glass Sword by Victoria Aveyard

March TBR

Glass sword is the second book in the Red Queen series, which I read back in January, it is about Mare Barrow and how her life is completely changed when she a lowly red blood unleashes a power that only silver bloods are gifted with. I liked Red Queen and found it a fast paced read and hoping that Glass Sword is just as fast paced.

Cruel Crown by Victoria Aveyard

March TBR

Cruel Crown is a bind up of two novellas first one being Queen Song and then Steel Scars. These are both prequels to Red Queen I’m sure I will read this in a couple of hours then start on Glass Sword.

A little Princess by Frances Hodgeson Burnett

This will be my classic pick for the month and it is only a children’s book so won’t take me too long to read. I look forward to reading because I loved the movie as a kid.

Since the live action movie for Beauty and the Beast comes out on the 17th. I have picked out two retellings of Beauty and the Beast.

Cruel Beauty by Rosamund Hodge

March TBR

I did try reading this one last year but was feeling confused so ended up putting it down. Hopefully this time around I am less confused. In Cruel Beauty, Nyx is bethroyed to the beast, Ignifex, and she has been trained to kill the beast but ends up falling in love.

Of Beast and Beauty by Stacey Jay

March TBR

I honestly don’t know too much about this one excpet that it is a retelling of beauty and the beast. *fingers crossed* that it is a good one.

Kings Curse by Philippa Gregory

March TBR

I actually haven’t finished or started reading The White Princess liked I planned but I am hoping that I pick it up soon and then I will pick this one up and be done with the Cousins War series.

That is all the books I wish to read in the month of March. Have you read any books mentioned? If so, let me know your thoughts.
