July Book Haul

Hello Fellow Book Lovers!

Today I will be sharing with you the books I purchased in July. In total I have added 14 books to my shelves this month. I have already done a book haul this month for 12 of these books, so I won’t go into great detail on those for this post. If you missed my birthday haul post I will link it so you can check it out. Birthday Book Haul

I have linked goodreads to the titles incase you would like to learn more about the books I picked up this month.

Vivian Apple at the End of the World by Katie Coyle

Vivian Apple At The End of the World July Book Haul

I picked this book up because I liked the cover and it seemed like a perfect quick summer read and it was only $1.50 at Dollarrama. After getting home and looking more into the book it is set during an apocalypse, so maybe not quite the fluffy summer contemporary as I thought it would be. Oh well it still sounds good to me might pick it up next month.

Mortal Hear by Robin LaFevers

Mortal Heart July Book HaulI was soo happy when I seen this book at Dollarrama for $1.50. It does have a little damage to the dust jacket but that is ok with me. I have the first book in this series and now only need to buy the second one so I can start reading them.

Mortal Heart is the third book in the His Fair Assassin Series. Amith wants nothing more than to be an assassin as she has been trained to be but when she finds out she is now to be a Seeress instead she is outraged and so plans to go out on her own.

Pretty Girls by Karin Slaughter

Pretty Girls July Book Haul

I bought this as an e-book through my Kobo App. Kobo was having a sale so it was only $3. I haven’t been reading e-books lately as I don’t have an e-reader, I just read on my phone and I have cracked my screen. Which hinders my ability to read on my phone. 😦

Pretty Girls is a psychological thriller about two sister, Claire and Lydia who have been estranged since their sister Julia’s disappearance. Now 20 years later they have been brought together when Claire’s husband is killed and together they look to the past for answers and along the way uncover some dark secrets.

Sounds very intriguing and can’t wait to read. Maybe I will get my phone fixed or finally buy myself an e-reader.

These next books are the ones I received for my birthday I have just listed them below just to make this post shorter. Please check out my link above if you wish to know more about them or click on the link to goodreads.
